Dr. Belaidi is currently a senior researcher at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health, The University of Melbourne, specializing in cellular metabolism and neurodegeneration, particularly in exploring how the interactions of cysteine, lipid, and iron metabolism determine the fate of neural cells.

- On December 13th:Prof. Masamine Jimba delivered a speech on ‘Using The Lens of Human Security for Communicable Disease Control.’ With his rich research and practical experience in global health, he provided students with different global views on infectious diseases and greatly broadened students' international vision.
- On December 14th:Prof. Masamine Jimba delivered a speech entitled ‘Poverty and Health Promotion at Global Level.’ He shared his perspective on the current global poverty and health promotion status, combining his humanitarian aid experience in Nepal. Eventually, he provided opportunities for international and domestic students to share their experiences and cultures with each other.
