  • 2023.12.15 Associate Professor Wanchai Assavalapsakul from Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University visited KMU and gave a talk to students.（Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology）
  • 2023.12.13 Dr. Tzong-Shi Lu, an alumnus of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology, visited KMU and gave a talk: Finding your niche. Dr. Lu is currently the associate research scholar in Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital.（Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology）
  • 2023.12.13-12.14 To enhance students’ sensitivity to international health issues, Prof. Betty Ya-Wen Chiu invited Prof. Masamine Jimba from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and the former President of APACPH to deliver two speeches.（Department of Public Health）
    • On December 13th：Prof. Masamine Jimba delivered a speech on ‘Using The Lens of Human Security for Communicable Disease Control.’ With his rich research and practical experience in global health, he provided students with different global views on infectious diseases and greatly broadened students' international vision.
    • On December 14th：Prof. Masamine Jimba delivered a speech entitled ‘Poverty and Health Promotion at Global Level.’ He shared his perspective on the current global poverty and health promotion status, combining his humanitarian aid experience in Nepal. Eventually, he provided opportunities for international and domestic students to share their experiences and cultures with each other.
  • 2023.12.13 Dr. Tran Ngoc Dang and Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu are scholars from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry in Vietnam, respectively. They will be visiting on December 13th to engage in exchanges with three faculty members from our department regarding University Social Responsibility (USR) at Kaohsiung Medical University.（Department of Public Health）
